Kemika XXI merges with KMK Regulatory Services Inc.
April 5, 2009 – The President and CEO of Kemika XXI Inc. Dr. Luc Séguin, Ph. D., Chemist announced today that Kemika XXI has merged with KMK Regulatory Services inc., and will continue to provide the same high quality MSDS authoring services under the «KMK» corporate name.
«The whole team of Kemika has made the move toward KMK, said Dr. Séguin, who is also KMK’s President and CEO and we will be pleased to honour all our contracts and obligations with all the customers of Kemika.»
Dr Séguin added that all e-mail and telephone messages will be re-directed automatically to KMK’s e-mail address and phone number. The corporate address and fax number remain the same.

January 12 2006. - Kemika updates its MSDS formats
In line with its continuous improvement policy and to comply with the regulatory changes adopted in the course of 2005, Kemika XXI is renewing its customers MSDS formats.
"EU countries now require that all MSDS comply with the 29th ATP whereas in North America, the ANSI Z400.1-2004 format is gaining in popularity within the hazard communication community" said Kemika's CEO, Dr. Luc Séguin Ph. D. (Chemist). "Together with these modifications, we seized the opportunity to review our layout and design and prepare the best edited MSDS in the global market place, both in terms of regulatory compliance, wording and layout."
Henceforth, all our 2006 MSDS incorporate new PPE pictograms. Section 14 has been completely re-designed and clearly sums up all international, national and local TDG regulations in a concise manner. In addition, the product name and customer logo now appear on the header of each page; subtitles have been standardized and clearly separated from the chore text and the whole page layout has been re-designed.
"These are far from cosmetic only modifications" Dr. Séguin continued. "Of course, regulatory compliance comes first but let's never forget that MSDS are meant to be read and used in the work place, very often under stress and adverse conditions, where and when getting straight to the point may be critical to the health and safety of workers and/or emergency responders. In such circumstances, clarity, concision, precision and clear language are of utmost importance."
